The Animals on Old Mac and Donald's Farm

WELCOME TO THE FARM! Tinker, Cal and Dean journey to the E-I-E-I-O Farm and meet new friends Old Mac and Donald. Take a trip around the farm and say hello to horses, cows, chickens, sheep, pigs and all the other animals. Help the farm sheepdog as he does his farm chores and separates the horses, sheep and cows into their stalls for the night.

The Explorers discover the cows on the farm! Cal, Tinker and Dean learn all about cows and how they like to hang out with their friends, they have a great sense of smell and that some cows have spots. They discover that cows’ spots can be different shapes like triangles, circles and squares. Enjoy a picnic where the Explorers discover the foods made from cows’ milk like butter and cheese can be shapes too!

Take a hayride with Cal, Tinker, Dean, Old Mac and Donald and discover the chicken coop and all the chickens that live inside and lay their eggs. Learn how to say hello to the chickens and an important farm chore- collecting the eggs! Count to 12, as we collect the eggs and count the chickens as they leave the coop. Play the chicken way and dance the day away with the Explorers!
Compare and Contrast with Ducks

The Explorers venture to the farm pond and discover ducks! They learn how to say hello by saying QUACK and that ducks love corn. Roxy joins in for a quick snack too and Cal, Tinker and Dean compare the differences between ducks and birds, like their feet! Learn the difference between fast and slow as we sing Row Row Row Your Boat while Tinker and Dean race across the pond.

Hop into the pickup truck with Cal, Tinker, Dean, Old Mac and Donald as they meet a new animal friend, a horse! Learn how to say hello to the horses and all about how they love carrots for snacks, but they eat mostly hay. Take a ride on the horse back to the barn and help Donald with an important farm chore- stacking hay! Sing along as they learn the best way to stack hay bales!

Cal, Tinker and Dean meet an ox who takes them on a wagon ride out to the crop fields! As they move along, they discover a new plant, carrots! Learn the five steps to make plants grow - plowing the field, planting the seeds, watering the seeds, waiting for the plants the grow and harvesting. Learn to count by two’s as we help plant the seeds and sing “Oats and Beans and Barley!"

Cal, Tinker and Dean meet Old Mac and Donald at the fruit stand, but the berry boxes are all empty! Roxy joins the Explorers as they venture to the berry patch to collect blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. Sing along as the Explorers learn to match berry colors to different colored birds. Discover how a wheelbarrow can help with carrying heavy items, like boxes of berries back to the stand!

Take a ride on the lawn mower as the Explorer’s journey to the petting zoo where they meet some jumping fur balls- rabbits! Learn all about their favorite foods and how they love to jump. Help Donald as he mows patterns with circles, triangles and squares into the hillside and Tinker and Dean recreate the pattern with grass. Join the “Binky Bunny Hop” and hop hop hop like rabbits!

Take a walk with Cal, Tinker, Dean, Old Mac and Donald to the farm pig pen to meet a mama pig and her babies. Spot her staying cool in the mud and give a holler to the piglets by saying hello! Learn all about how the pigs help with composting on the farm by mixing food scraps with the soil. Sing along as the Explorer’s “Mix the Mud like Dough” to help the flowers grow!

Take a hay ride with the Explorers and sing along to the “Wheels on the Tractor” as we travel to the greenhouse on a chilly morning to discover butterflies! Enter the warm and beautiful greenhouse filled with colorful butterflies and learn how they drink nectar from flowers and can even taste with their feet! Help them match different color butterfly wings to different color flowers!

Join Cal, Tinker, Dean and Old Mac as they help Donald count the sheep on the farm. Learn the different names for mama, papa and baby sheep and count to three. Head to the barn as we sheer the sheep and learn about sheep’s wool and the steps to making wool into sweaters. Jump and sing along to “Ba Ba Black Sheep” as we make sweaters for all the Explorers!

Cal, Tinker and Dean met Old Mac and Donald back at the petting zoo and carry hay to the animals with the help of a strong llama. Compare a Llama and an Alpaca, like the differences in their fur and their ears and learn how they like to eat hay, while their babies drink milk. Dean and Tinker get to help feed the babies with bottles, while Cal sings about mamas and babies.
