Aleksandar Petakov journeys to the most forested state in the lower 48 in search of evidence of the creatures existence. Investigators Aleks and Eli travel from San Francisco to Humboldt county, through the redwoods and into the little town of Willow Creek, self proclaimed Bigfoot capital of the world, to investigate recent Bigfoot activity on a property with Animal Planets Finding Bigfoot star James “Bobo” Fay. After this they venture to the remote Bluff Creek area, where in the 1950’s logging crews discovered strange prints that would later be dubbed “Bigfoot”. They investigate this historic area with the Bluff Creek Project, as well as spend a night at the famed Patterson-Gimlin Film Site nearby. They experience seemingly inexplicable events while in this rugged wilderness.

Along the way, he visits the Bigfoot Museum of Oklahoma in Clayton to speak with founder Tanya Kordek and from there spends time in the Kiamichi Wilderness on property with a history of activity and recent sightings. One location in particular is a small hunting cabin in which the previous occupant alleged that something actually attempted to break into the cabin at some point, among other stories.
