
By deciding to stage an adaptation of Molière’s Précieuses Ridicules with her students, Cécile thought she was simply rehabilitating these early 17th-century feminists, unjustly ridiculed. Little did she know that this decision would overwhelm her and ultimately save her from her own self-effacement.
